Print in the Maastricht University print portal

When your computer or laptop does not have a printer driver installed, you can upload print jobs in the print portal.

1. Go to: print.maastrichtuniversity.nl
2. Log in with your UM username and password or guest account.
3. Click the [Print] tab.
4. Drag one or more files to the field [Upload files]. The portal supports the following document formats: .docx, gif, jp(e)g, .pdf, .png, .pps, pptx, .rtf, .txt, .xlsx
5. Click the [Settings] button to change the number of sets, the colour settings, the print style and the use of staples. You can also change the job properties at the Canon printer before you print the job.
6. Click the [Print] button.
7. Your print job is submitted to the Canon printers. Print jobs are retained for up to 72 hours.
8. Log out:
   - As a student or employee: close the browser. Please note that the browser is not closed until all tabs are closed.
   - As a guest: click the   button and then [Log out].

Print a PDF file that was downloaded from the internet?

There is a small chance the file will not be printed. The printer will show the message "Cancelling". Read how to solve this problem.
