Canon takes sustainability very seriously. Canon's corporate philosophy 'Kyosei' (living and working together for the common good) means that the principles of sustainability and responsibility have been embedded in Canon's values since its foundation. This means that we take responsibility
take responsibility for the impact of our activities and treat our customers, employees, society and the environment with respect. Through imaging and Canon technologies, Canon aims to make the world a better and more beautiful place.
The three main pillars in Canon's sustainability policy:
1. Reducing environmental impact
We’re minimising the impact of our operations and our customers on the environment, by keeping materials in use for longer and minimizing waste by transforming the way we use materials in our products, consumables, packaging and operations.
